Durham Region's 2025 Strategic Plan

Work has been underway to develop Durham Region’s 2025 Strategic Plan.

The draft 2025 Strategic Plan is a community plan that will be presented to Council for endorsement.

It reflects what we heard from community members through the engagement phase and is supported by staff expertise.

The 2025 Strategic Plan reflects a shared vision for the future of Durham Region and will act as a compass to advance work at Durham Region, for both Council and staff.

Together, along with partners, businesses, and community members, the Region will work to achieve the future we want to create in Durham Region.

Durham Region’s draft 2025 Strategic Plan is bold and sets out five strategic directions to achieve a shared vision for the future of Durham Region.

    Designing Our Future

    Your voice matters! We are calling on all young artists to share your vision for Durham Region – your home and community. 

    You are invited to "design our future" and submit images of your vision for Durham Region 10 years from now.

    Contest opens on March 1, 2024 and closes at 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
