About Youth Pride Durham

Youth Pride Durham is a friendly, inclusive celebration for youth, children and families who are part of 2SLGBTQI+ communities. Allies are welcome to join.

This free event champions acceptance through an afternoon of:

  • Electrifying live performances from Sofonda and Wilma
  • Catchy tunes from DJ Psi
  • Face painting, popcorn and cotton candy
  • Gambit the Magician
  • A forum for community organizations and agencies to gather in the Resource Village


The Resource Village

The Resource Village brings together community service organizations from across Durham Region to share information about the programs and supports they offer to 2SLGBTQI+ communities of all ages.


Durham Alliance Outreach

Durham Alliance Outreach, the only food pantry in Durham that prioritizes the needs of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, will be on-site collecting donations. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and donate your non-perishable food items. Learn more about Durham Alliance Outreach.


Drag Queen Storytime

Drag Queen Storytime offers free, family friendly story time programming at public libraries throughout Durham Region in celebration of diversity and inclusion. Check out the upcoming events section for dates and more details.
