Celebrate with us
Regional Headquarters Tree Planting Ceremony
To celebrate 50 years of Durham Region, 50 trees have been planted at Regional Headquarters. This includes nine along Garden Street—eight for each local area municipality and one for Durham Region.
Durham Region celebrates the benefits trees bring to our communities following National Tree Day in September, and highlights the efforts of local tree planting programs, Durham TREES and LEAF: Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests. Both of which are making a tangible impact on our environment and quality of life.
