    Courtice Mural Public Art Project

    In the summer of 2023, we engaged with the community to understand perspectives on public art and placemaking. We heard that it is important to engage with residents, businesses and Indigenous communities early into projects to understand local priorities and integrate diverse voices and perspectives.

    In partnership with the Municipality of Clarington, Durham Region is considering a public art mural project in Courtice.  This project aims to create a joyful space that brings people together in new and unexpected ways. The mural will be inclusive and accessible, support local artists, and foster community pride.

    The Region will be seeking external funding to support this project.

    • You didn't use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to make it automatically.

    It is important that your art is original and that you have the right to share it.
